Fall 2007
Dear Friend:
D’Youville College is proud to be celebrating its 100th anniversary throughout 2008.
The last 100 years have been a century of achievements. D’Youville’s success is due to the efforts of the remarkable alumni, the active vibrant student body, and the talented and caring faculty and staff who embrace D’Youville’s spirit and values.
Founded by the Grey Nuns and chartered by New York State in 1908, the college has provided an outstanding education based on the values exemplified in Marguerite d’Youville’s life. Most significant among these values is the recognition of each person as a child of a loving God and our responsibility to provide service to all of our sisters and brothers, especially those most in need.
At the same time D’Youville celebrates its centennial, it also is preparing for another century filled with new challenges and opportunities, a time replete with promise and excitement. I invite you to tour our special website to learn more about D’Youville and its first 100 years.
Sincerely,
